Good luck!
I have received a sweepstakes entry in exchange for blogging about this Promotion.
It’s totally movie season right now with the Golden Globes just ending (how fab did Tina Fey look??) and the Oscars right around the corner, that I’ve been on a total movie kick. I just got a sneak peek of Steven Soderbergh’s Side Effects, which I’ve been super excited to see and which also comes out on February 8th. I am a total Soderbergh fan (Traffic is my fave), adore Rooney Mara (not only is she a super talented actor, I love her fashion sense), and was excited to see Jude Law back in action (we’ve miss you Jude).

It looks interesting, suspenseful, totally thrilling, and very provocative. The moody lighting, choice actors, and sensual music, together intensify these feelings, beckoning me to go out and see it February 8th when it's released. If I'm being completely honest though, I'm a teensy bit apprehensive to watch it, even though I want to so badly. It's a catch-22 because I have a hint of a phobia surrounding pills -and medication in general, and just viewing the trailer stirs up that emotional anxiety. But that's the point of suspense thrillers, right?

Mark your calendars, there’s more Channing Tatum headed your way! Next month on February 8th the movie Side Effects will hit theaters, starring Jude Law, Rooney Mara, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and a southern favorite, Channing Tatum (ok, maybe we’re slightly biased because he recently opened a joint down here in New Orleans, Saints and Sinners, making him more locally accessible in some small way, but did you SEE Magic Mike?!). And really, it’s not just because of Mr.

Since having our daughter, the hubby and I tend to spend most of our date nights ordering in and dominating the couch! All we want to do after a hectic day is relax and unwind together watching movies and catching up on our tivo'd shows. We LOVE watching trailers for movies (since we can't do that very often in the theatre) and getting a little sneak peak at good ones that are coming out! After watching the trailer for the thriller/drama Side Effects we can't wait to see it!

The movie opens February 8th and stars a mix of actors that I really enjoy: Jude Law, Rooney Mara, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Channing Tatum with his shirt on! (Don't everyone sob at once. I think Magic Mike will be on Netflix streaming shortly.) Also? It's a crime thriller directed by Steven Soderbergh. Pretty sure that guy doesn't direct duds. But do you know what's even more fun than seeing Side Effects at a matinee at my local theater? Seeing it in New York City with a friend. Am I right?

One movie I already know will be worth it? Side Effects. Not only does it have an amazing cast, but psychological thriller type movies are my favorite by far. I like to be challenged while watching a movie, and to be kept on the edge of my seat. The IMDb describes Side Effects as "A successful New York couple's world unravels when a new anti-anxiety drug prescribed by Emily's psychiatrist has unexpected side effects." Watch the trailer below and see what I mean.

One method I select the movies I watch at the cinema is by paying attention to the trailers that run before the film, and that was how I saw the Side Effects preview last year. I was immediately intrigued because it was by Steven Soderbergh, one of those directors I respect, and who made the Ocean's Eleven series. I have also watched Out of Sight, Solaris, and Erin Brockovich so I know to watch out for his movies. He also directed Contagion which we had seen the previous year.

If we have a date night, it's usually good food and a movie. While I'm more of the romantic comedy or documentary kinda girl, I do enjoy a thriller (even though I sit through the entire movie holding my breath). The movie I want to chat about today is Side Effects, a pharmaceutical thriller. Unfortunately, I didn't have access to an early preview of Side Effects, so I can only guess at what the movie will be like... based on it's trailer.

Side Effects' is a gripping psychological thriller featuring an all-star cast that is guaranteed to keep movie-goers on the edge of their seats. Produced by director Steven Soderbergh, the provocative tale comes to life on the big screen with high-profile actors Jude Law, Rooney Mara, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Channing Tatum. The film weaves the story of Emily and Martin Taylor (Mara and Channing), a successful New York couple who had an idyllic life together before he was convicted of a crime.

So I've been keeping an eye on this 'Side Effects' movie, a film starring Jude Law, Rooney Mara, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Channing Tatum, and I have to say, it looks pretty good. Steven Soderbergh directs it, and the screenplay is written by Scott Z. Burns.
